Academic Calendar

The academic calendar is divided into two semesters per year. Southeast Asian Studies for both MA's degree and non-degree students will be offered both in the first and second semester of every academic year.

First semester: June - September
Mid-year break: October
Second semester: End of October - February
Summer break: March - May

2011 Academic Calendar

First semester

Deadline for application	Now till April 22, 2011
First day for classes	June 6, 2011
Last day for classes	September 24, 2011
Last day for the final exams	October 8, 2011

**It is recommended that students arrive at least a week before first day for classes so that all registration formalities can be formalized.

Second semester

Deadline for application	Now till September 30, 2011
First day for classes	October 27, 2011
Last day for classes	February 25, 2012
Last day for the final exams	March 10, 2012

2012 Academic Calendar

First semester

Deadline for application	Now till end of March 2012
First day for classes	Early June 2012
Last day for classes	End of September 2012
Last day for the final exams	Early October 2012
